United American Methodist Episcopal Church Cemetery
Coatesville, Pennsylvania
Submitted by Stanley Way
The following soldiers gravestones have been identified in this abandoned Civil War cemetery. Information on each has been confirmed using Military and Pension records located at the National Archives, Washington, DC. Local citizenry in Coatesville have not yet decided what to do about maintaining this abandoned cemetery which was originally located adjacent to a U.A.M.E. church. The church is no longer standing. The descendant church, the Hutchinson Memorial U.A.M.E. Church of Coatesville is still in operation.
