Married Mary Ann Waters March 02, 1853 in London, Ontario
Enlisted January 1865, Discharged June 1865.
After discharge he moved his family, wife and 2 daughters from London to Cleveland, Ohio where my grandfather William H. was born in 1868. Lived in Ohio, New York, Illinois and Michigan. Was a resident in veteran homes in Danville, IL and Dayton, OH.
Died: November 02, 1930 in Detroit, MI.
Buried: Woodmere Cemetery, Sec. 5, Lot 28-160. Detroit. His grave does not have a headstone but I have taken action to obtain USCTroupe headstone and have it installed.
George is my great grandfather.
