The cemetery has been neglected for many years, but recent efforts of the Bergen County chapter of the NAACP, as well as Bergen County Department of Parks and Recreation, Division of Cultural and Historic Affairs, will soon result in renovated cemetery grounds and a small exhibit on the history of the cemetery and some of the stories of those buried there.
