Organized April 4, 1864, from 11th Corps de Afrique Infantry. Attached to 1st Brigade, 1st Division, Corps de Afrique, Dept. of the Gulf, to July, 1864. Garrison duty at Port Hudson, La. Broken up July 28, 1864.
